Well that's a relief

Trevor had his audiology referral this morning. It appears it was just a machine failure when he was first tested, as he passed the test easily today. Unless we notice any problems in the future he doesn't need any further follow ups.

James and I worked as a team and got out the door right on time this morning. He helped get the boys dressed, I got to shower and we all got to sit and eat breakfast. I dropped him off and then drove the long way around to the base hospital. I got there nice and early, and boy am I glad I did. I walk into Audiology only to be informed that I can't bring the bigger boys into the appointment with me. Well gee, thanks for telling me that when I scheduled the appointment. The receptionist suggested I try to get them into Teddy Watch, a volunteer childcare in the hospital. I had to get a copy of their shot records, so I go to the immunizations clinic. It's about 7:50 by this point. I waited for 10 minutes while the airman at the desk was on the phone scheduling herself an appointment for something. Yes, 10 minutes. Never once did she look up and even acknowledge me or the 3 other people who came in behind me. She hangs up the phone and grabs a chart and walks out of the room. I waited another 5 minutes and no one came in to man the desk. So I went to the release of information desk and they had the shot records in my hand in less than 1 minute. (Next time I'll know to just go there first.) I headed down to Teddy Watch, where thankfully there was availability. Seth of course wasn't thrilled with being left and pitched a lovely fit.Josh on the other hand was thrilled with the chance to go play with friends. I got the boys signed in and back up to Audiology at exactly 8:15, my appt time. Phew.

I went by the WIC clinic on the way out to weigh Trevor. He's gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks. He is 11 pounds 3 ounces now. Josh is 37 pounds, and Seth is 29 pounds. They are all getting so big. They weren't feeling cooperative for the height measurements, so I didn't bother with that. I just wanted to see how much they had gained with their summer growth spurts.

I'm home now and ready to collapse. Trey is snoozing in the wrap on my chest, Seth is sound asleep on the floor where he passed out playing with Click The Camera, and if I'm lucky Josh will crash too so I can get a nap. Here's a picture of Seth sleeping with Click.
