My house is so clean! Well, at least the main rooms of the house are clean. Tomorrow I will tackle the bedrooms.
Today I rearranged our house...which is rather amusing, as I used to get so annoyed with James rearranging our apartments, yet I have been rearranging about once a month since becoming a SAHM. Oh well! Not only did I rearrange, but I cleaned. I don't mean picked up, I mean deep cleaning; dusting, mopping, throwing away junk, baby proofing, etc. I feel so good.
As I sit and look around my house I feel like this is my little haven. I admit that I absolutely love the feeling of a clean house. Too bad I don't always keep it this way! I was reading at bf.com how it is so much easier to keep a clean house if you do it every day; that if you stay on top of it, cleaning is quick and easy. So today I spent 4 hours getting my house spotless, and if I try to keep it this way maybe it'll only be like an hour a day.
I had a good day today. I was scheduled to host a scrapbooking night for our playgroup tonight. I was so excited to show off my nice clean house. Rochelle and Gabe came over and we had a nice visit. I am truly blessed to have Chelle as my friend. I truly believe that she was sent my way, as I had been praying that Heavenly Father would help me make a friend. I am really lucky to have such an amazing family and great friends. I know that without them my life would be pretty bleak. I hope that I can make my friends (and family) know how much I appreciate them.
