Woohoo!!!

Tuesday afternoon I got an awesome phone call. James was all non-chalant as he answered my question of how his day was going with "oh, I'm just sitting here looking at my acceptance letter for the MTI program". I said "WHAT?" and he repeated himself. He GOT IT!!! We are to report to San Antonio for his class for Military Training Instructor no later than December 3, 2010. It's the best of both scenarios, we get to stay in Alaska for one more year, and then get to go home for 4 years. I am so excited. Words can't do justice to the peace this notice brings to my heart. There is still a chance that he will deploy in a few months, and if so I'll take it that it is meant to be.
